The artwork and images that enticed visitors to experience the inspiring allure of Waikiki’s beaches pre-1935. Pan Am began offering commercial service to Hawaii in April of 1935. Before then, ocean liners could take you there, and this “Hawaii direct from Los Angeles” artwork adorned one of their brochures. The woodblock print on the back was illustrated in books of the time and looks like it was created from one of Tom Blake’s photographs.
Classic fit tee with rib trim at the neck and signature bite stitch detailing at sleeve and hem.
